Oregon escapes

Cal's kicker missed a short field goal from a distance he had been perfect at for the past three years -- and this let #1 Oregon escape with a meager 15-13 victory in a game that was a huge victory for Cal's defense. Since #2 Auburn beat a better team more easily, and Oregon held a slim lead in last week's BCS poll, I feel certain that the Ducks will fall to #2 today. I also hope Boise State climbs over TCU to #3, which may be too much to expect. But TCU barely won as well, while Boise once again blew out a weak opponent.
