I don't often get excited about new singers or groups but I caught an interview with the Carolina Chocolate Drops on Fresh Air a bit ago and love them. They are three young musicians working in the tradition of black jug bands and string bands from the 20s and 30s. It is GREAT that these talented young musicians are keeping this tradition alive. Their new CD is out. (Yeah, they've been around for a few years, I'm late to the party as usual.)9 more songs
