Crazy rhythm

Monday was a spectacular day. Yesterday by comparison sucked. I stumbled at every thing I did, I brooded endlessly and non-productively over the new splay, and I ended up crashing early in a bad mood. Today I woke with renewed energy, got to working on the splay and made good progress, now within a dozen pages of the end. It's turned crazy, the way the wonderful film Adaptation turns crazy, but I think I can make it work structurally, just as the ending of A. is set up (though missed on first viewing since it goes in such a different new direction). It's crazier than my writing usually is, so we'll see what happens.
