Progress

I rec'd 3 emails from my composer friend, colleague and collaborator John in the same day! Lately I don't hear from him for weeks at a time. He gave me his (belated) approval of the most recent libretto, a comedy based on a Guy De Maupassant story, The Man Who Hatched Chickens, and is thinking of entering a competition with it. Hooray! Do it, John, do it.

I imported the office pages into the script -- now at 91 pages, home free, with only a few more to FADE OUT. A draft soon done, always great news.

My friend and colleague Julie, beginning her MFA at Pacific U, has drawn Craig Lesley for an advisor, and she can't do better than that.

And tomorrow I return to piano lessons. Life is good.
