Textbooks going the way of cursive writing, sigh. How do you write in the margins of a digital book?
Actually the student's job is much easier on an ereader like Kindle. It's easy to highlight a passage, which then is automatically saved on the web. Just copy and paste to insert into a paper. To make a note, locate the cursor, start typing, and it's saved as a footnote in a window below the text. Ereaders make research much, much, much easier!! Or at least Kindle does. Others may not.
