Ritual

Making scrapple no longer is the major ritual in my living routine. That happens a couple times a month. Now I have a daily ritual, preparing my coffee to brew cold in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. I think I'm down to three beans I'll keep around but still want to explore. But it will be hard to beat what I have, I think.

Iced coffee is so damn good and so damn easy to make (if you have the right tools!), I remain amazed it took me so long to discover my ritual.

Having a relaxed day, though I did a quick first look at student homework, their story concepts. Grunt work to get it all online for class evaluation.

Started a brilliant book by historian William Appleman Williams. More forthcoming.
