New term

First class today at noon. I'm in a building some blocks from campus, curious about it. Will be a zoo if everybody on the longer-than-usual waiting list shows up. Only a few of the 15 can be let in. Glad to be starting a new term! I like the routine built into teaching. Especially now that I have no serious project to fill my mind.

Started reading a fascinating book "The Death of Freud," parallel narrative of Freud's last days and Hitler's early days in Vienna.
