Your grad student, Charles. If I might mention, just remind her that most, not all, but most producers have an eighth grade mentality. So keep paragraphs of direction to a few lines. In fact, they don't have to be complete sentences. White Space, leave plenty of it. The script needs to read vertical. But then, I'm not sure producers can read. Remember, no one knows what they're doing.
I've been in story conferences where everyone looked at me for direction. It's hard not to take advantage of such a situation. But make it look like the folks around you have come up with good ideas. That way they can impress their boss, and everyone wins.
Please keep us posted on her progress. You make teaching sound like it was fun.
