So Iran is hosting a two-day "academic" conference on whether or not the Holocaust existed. Maybe this will start a trend. Next will be a conference on whether or not the Earth is flat. Then another on whether or not there was a moon landing. Then we can add topical ones, like whether or not Elvis lives and, in fact, is really the shy old clerk in the wig down at the 7-11 store.

I don't recall in my lifetime a period when institutionalized ignorance was so widespread.
