- My biggest adjustment is psychological. Both mornings I rose unprepared -- that is, I still had prep to do before rushing off to catch the 10 a.m. bus. Before I catch the bus at 2 p.m., so I had a leisurely morning for last minute prep. No more.
- It is quieter on campus in the afternoon than in the evening. This surprises me! But that's my experience.
- I have to be more efficient at beginning and ending of class because another class is in the room before me and another right after me In the evening, I usually had the classroom to myself and could come early or stay late.
- I think I'm going to prefer this new schedule. It's what I requested for next year.
I just read about a 16 year old girl whose $1.49 children's book on Kindle earned her over $7000 in December. Holy mackerel! I bought it and read it, very short to boot, and it's charming, yes, but doesn't strike me as "special." What do I know? Not much. It ends up, parents can keep the kid occupied by having the story read text-to-speech during the day as well as reading it as a bedtime story. I'd like to know the marketing plan this teenager used to sell so many copies. Not for my own use -- I don't write anything that appeals to the masses -- but to answer, Why this book? I feel sure there are many, maybe hundreds, out there that are more or less like it. Like I say, this was sweet, charming, but nothing extraordinary, or so it seems to me. So why this one at #1?
