A fish stew kind of day

My "liquor" (or broth or stock) is simmering and after a few hours I'll start adding things to it. This is shaping up to be a nice one. Taking time with the right ingredients does it every time.

A very mellow day -- and again, having a hard time getting started. Probably subconscious resting before I start classes on Tuesday and get busier.

Going to a play Saturday, the new version of Albee's "Zoo Story," which I know well, having acted in it. Curious why he would mess with a classic like that.

Having trouble with the Kindle format on a few books -- I have no idea why some zip through looking great and others look less than great. Hidden computer codes in there, Word always does shit like that. I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it. If it's imperfect, I'll make the price Zero. As is, most I'm selling for 99 cents, mainly to a record of sales, to satisfy my perverse curiosity. I sold 4 books since putting them up, so maybe I'll make more coffee money.

I added a vignette this morning, another half page that adds significantly much in a nuanced way. I'll be eliminating vignettes as well. I remain impatient to get a hard copy in my hands. Only time I prefer "books" to Kindle ha ha -- holding one of my own children.
