The superiority of women's basketball

I increasingly find women't basketball much more engaging to watch than men's basketball. In fact, I no longer watch men's professional basketball at all. Here are the reasons I prefer the women's game and prefer high school and college ball to professional ball, regardless of gender:

• greater teamwork
• basket proportionately higher compared to height (men's game needs to raise the basket 18 inches or so)
• fewer assholes playing the game (an  impression that may be wrong because the women's game is covered less, i.e. less data)
• far fewer dunks and other boring show off antics
• fewer assholes -- oh, I already said that
• fewer off court antics

Consequently I'll watch the women's tournament far deeper into play than the men's, where I generally lose interest after all the smaller longshots are eliminated. My rule of thumb: root for the team with the highest GPA!

And once again let me plug my solution to all the corruption in college athletics: eliminate athletic scholarships. IMMEDIATELY. PERIOD. Make the pros set up their own goddamn farm system and pay for it themselves.
