At the Bar (poem)

At the bar

they are not hard to find
sitting at the bar
alone but talkative
laughing smoking coughing
telling jokes even if
nobody is listening
maybe buying a round
men needing attention
men needing distraction
if only for a few drinks
before paying up
before heading home
another lonely man
another married man
who needs to get laid
