News rehab

I go off and on as a "news junky". I followed the news very closely after Obama's election but after a few months I didn't see the dramatic change I expected, Obama clearly no FDR, and the news became depressingly predictable, so I stopped. Now I barely watch the news at all, not even the local news, but this too will change in my rhythm of on-again, off-again news junky.
