Tournament fever

Taking a break to watch a little tournament basketball, a final between Illinois State and Northern Iowa, going into overtime, winner to the big dance. Love this time of year, especially these competitive games between schools you never heard of. During the big dance, I root for my degree schools, UCLA and Oregon, but otherwise love underdogs and teams with high GPAs. So I didn't even mind it some years back when Princeton beat UCLA, though I consider the latter very respectable in academic terms. So this year, I'll hope no #1 seeds make the final four and look for the inevitable Cinderella team to root for. Preferably one with a lot of brainy student science majors playing ha ha.
