I thought one of the nicest moments was the excitement of the U.S. men's gymnastic team in getting a Bronze medal, that is, finishing third. Refreshing to see excitement that doesn't depend on coming in first.
At the same time, the current fashion of treating kids in sports with kid gloves, giving out medals for coming in last, is poor training for the real world.
