A good work day yesterday, primarily music studies but also some progress on a new screenplay I'm working on, which is a reworking, a re-conception, of an old screenplay.
It feels good to have a breather from teaching responsibilities. I take teaching seriously -- one had better, given the outrageous costs of tuition today! Now I am responsible for no one except myself, which feels like being on vacation. Working without hard deadlines also feels good.
But I'm still waiting for real summer weather.
