A great college football season

Another #1 bites the dust. Glad to see it.

At this point, the championship game might be between Kansas and West Virginia, and this matchup would be wonderful. Keep the usual football giants out of it. Not as good as Yale--Harvard but closer than Ohio State--USC, say. But lots can still happen in the final two weeks.

clipped from sports.yahoo.com Arkansas 50, (1) LSU 48, 3OT LSU had already clinched the SEC West Division and will move on to the conference title game in Atlanta on Dec. 1, but will do so feeling a little hollow after letting a chance at a national title slip away. Winning the SEC title will put LSU in New Orleans in January, but for the Sugar Bowl, not the BCS Championship game they wanted to be in a week later.
